There are two (2) positions available, each with three-year terms.
Interested persons may file in person at Charleston R-I Central Office located at 311 E. Tom Brown Street (A.D. Simpson Building), Charleston, MO. The names of qualified candidates shall be placed on the ballot in order of filing.
Filing will begin on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the district’s regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Filing will not occur on days that the school district's Central Office is closed due to inclement weather or other reasons. The district may not open even on the first and/or last day of filing if the closing conditions make it unsafe for school staff to be available.
Central Office will close on December 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. for the holiday break, and filing will not occur after the office closes.
Filing will also not occur December 21, 2024 – December 30, 2024 when the school district’s offices are closed for holidays and breaks.
Filing will end on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
Central Office Hours will be 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2024.
