Charleston R-I Schools will return to class on Tuesday, February 3, 2026! Huge thanks to our maintenance crew for working hard over the past week, ensuring parking lots and walkways are cleared.

Due to hazardous road conditions, there will be no school tomorrow, Monday, February 2, 2026 for all Charleston R-1 Schools.

Superintendent Jamarcus Williams has officially cancelled classes for both Thursday 1/29, and Friday 1/30, for all Charleston R-1 Schools due to continued hazardous road conditions.
