Principals and teachers from each building will reach out to families with any special instructions. Students are expected to complete assignments as provided through Google Classroom, Seesaw, etc.
This temporary district-wide closure will allow for deep cleaning and social distancing following a spike in positive COVID cases.
The decision to close buildings down was made in cooperation with the Mississippi County Health Department.
Daily meals will be available at 11:00am through the MealsAway drive thru, located behind the CHS building.
Schools affected include Charleston High School, Charleston Middle School, and Hearnes Elementary.
This will affect in-person students only. JaysAway 100% Virtual students are not affected whatsoever.
At this time, all activities, including games, will not be held as planned.
