Official Guide to CHS at Final Four 2020

We encourage ALL Blue Jay fans, young and old, to be part of the experience in one way or another. Fans can:
  • Buy a Final Four T-Shirt and Hoodie,
  • Donate snacks and send notes of encouragement,
  • Attend the Final Four Pep Assembly & Team Send-Off,
  • Attend the Final Four games in Springfield,
  • Cheer the teams on from home (see Broadcasts, below)

UPDATE: MSHSAA Limits Spectators Allowed at Show-Me Showdown

Due to a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Missouri, the Show-Me Showdown will only be distributing 150 bracelets for each of the participating teams in this weekend's Final Four. No one without a wristband will be admitted into the arena. The third place game has also been canceled.
 
We are doing our best to make sure that family members of our team and cheerleaders get to see their kids participate. I know this is not ideal for fans, but I appreciate your understanding in this tough situation.

CHS Athletics is selling Final 4 T-shirts and hoodies starting Tuesday, March 10, 7:30am until sold out. CHS Art Room; First come, first serve. Make checks payable to Charleston Athletics.

The community is welcome to donate snacks, notes of encouragement, etc. to the team, coaches, and cheerleaders. Please send donations no later than the time above to ensure proper delivery.

THURSDAY, MARCH 12

Final Four Pep Assembly & Team Send-Off
1:00pm
CHS Gym; Community welcome; free. Presentations will include introductions of the cheerleaders, managers, basketball players, and coaches, as well as a word from the coaches and senior basketball players. This event is scheduled to conclude by 1:45pm.

Let’s pack these games out with an ocean of blue and white! From Charleston High School, it takes approximately 4 hours (250 miles) to get to Springfield, MO. Charleston will play two games, one on Friday night and one on Saturday. If your group would like to attend both games, you might want to make overnight accommodations.

Dunkin’ with Dads (and Other Important Role-Models)
5:30-7:30pm
The CHS Basketball team will be featured at Dunkin’ with Dads 2020, where fans will get to meet and greet the players and coaches. Community welcome; free. Sponsored by Charleston R-I Title I Parent Involvement.
