There are four (4) positions available: three (3) positions with three-year terms and one (1) position with a two-year term. Interested persons will be required to specify which term they would like to run for.
Filing will begin on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. and will continue during the District’s regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Filing will not occur on days that the School District’s offices are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following days when the school district’s offices are closed for holidays and breaks: December 23, 2019 - January 3, 2020, January 20, 2020.
Filing will end on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.
Interested persons shall declare his or her interest to become a candidate, in person to the Secretary of the Board of Education at 311 E. Tom Brown Street (A.D. Simpson Building), Charleston, MO. The names of qualified candidates shall be placed on the ballot in order of filing.
